Heart Healthy Class

Heart Healthy ClassProvided by our dietitian, this program is intended for those patients and family members with high cholesterol. Patients are generally referred to the group by their healthcare provider. You may self-refer as well. Patients are able to go over their own blood work results and learn what their goals should be. With education on diet and lifestyle choices, this session is able to give the patients a beginning base for better eating habits to decrease their risk for heart disease

VON SMART Group Class

The VON Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together (SMART) Program is designed for community members 55+ who wish to improve their strength, balance, and flexibility regardless of their current ability level. Classes are an hour in length and consist of low impact aerobics, balance, strength and flexibility training. Option of exercises being done seated. For more information on how to participate please call Shirley Blanchette at 1-888-279-4866. An assessment is conducted to determine eligibility for Group and In Home program. There is a small fee for this program.
